Depending on the offering, a gathering may include guided breathwork, movement, attention to sensations, periods of rest and opportunities for reflection. Each person follows their own process. In Person Gatherings

Returning to the Body

Somatic Movement and Biodynamic Breathwork

Returning to the Body is an intimate two-hour gathering combining personal inquiry, somatic movement and Biodynamic Breathwork.

The experience is an invitation to slow down, listen and come into closer contact with your felt sense: the direct, physical experience of what is happening within you.

We often relate to the body as something to control, improve or push beyond its limits. During this gathering, we will explore another possibility: learning to recognise the body as a source of information and discovering how to respond more attentively to what it needs.

The journey will begin with personal inquiry and guided somatic movement. From there, we will move into a Biodynamic Breathwork practice that may include conscious breathing, movement, sound, self-touch, emotional expression and meditation. Periods of rest and integration will offer time to receive and settle what has emerged.

You will be supported in following your own experience rather than reproducing a prescribed form. Every practice is an invitation, and you remain free to adjust your participation according to your needs, boundaries and capacity.

No previous experience with breathwork, movement or meditation is required. The gathering is held in English and is limited to eight participants so that the process can remain personal and carefully attended.

Date: 30 November 2026
Time: 19:00 to 21:00
Arrival: From 18:30

Practical Questions

When might Group Work be right for me?

Group Work may speak to you if you want to explore breathwork and somatic practice with guidance, experience individual practice within a shared environment, develop greater awareness of sensation and expression, or become part of a local or online community.

If you are uncertain about which experience corresponds to you, contact Giulio before registering.

Contact Giulio

Do I need previous experience?

No. All levels of experience are welcome. The guidance responds to the people present rather than assuming that everyone begins from the same place.

What is the difference between online and in person gatherings?

Online Group Breathwork allows you to participate from your own environment and is particularly suited to continuity through a themed series.

In Person Group Breathwork offers a smaller physical setting, individual attention and the possibility of optional hands on support.

Do I need to speak or share?

No. You are never required to explain your experience to the group. Time may be offered for optional reflection at the end of a gathering.

Is touch involved?

Touch may be offered during in person gatherings or workshops when appropriate. Touch is always based on clear consent. You may decline, pause or change your mind at any moment.

Online gatherings may include guided self touch.

How do I prepare?

For online gatherings, choose a private space with enough room to sit, lie down and move. Keep a mat, blanket, water and any supportive items nearby. Your camera needs to remain on so Giulio can observe your participation and offer guidance.

For in person gatherings, wear comfortable clothing and bring water. Complete arrival information will be included with your confirmation.

How do registration and payment work?

Registration currently takes place by email. Your place is confirmed after you receive a response from Giulio and complete the requested payment.

Payment can be made by bank transfer, Vipps, PayPal, Wise or Tikkie.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made at least seven days before an experience can be refunded or transferred to another available gathering.

When cancellation is made with less than seven days notice, Healing Art will first try to fill the place. If the place is filled, the payment can be refunded or transferred. If it cannot be filled, Healing Art may retain an amount corresponding to the reasonable loss caused by the cancellation.

If Healing Art cancels an experience, the amount paid will be refunded. This ordinary appointment policy does not limit any statutory withdrawal right that applies.

Safety and participation

Breathwork can involve strong physical sensations and emotions. Follow your own capacity throughout the experience. You may slow down, rest, decline touch or an exercise, or stop at any time.

Contact Giulio before registering if pregnancy, recent surgery or injury, a significant health condition, medication, psychological vulnerability or another concern could affect your participation. Do not send medical details through ordinary email. Giulio will arrange an appropriate way to discuss only what is necessary.

Group Work does not provide emergency, medical or psychological care. If you have an acute concern or need crisis support, contact an appropriate authorised service.

Are the groups confidential?

Participants are asked to respect the privacy of everyone present and not share another person’s identity or experience outside the gathering. Giulio treats what is shared within the group with care and confidentiality.

Is Group Work psychotherapy or medical treatment?

No. Group Work does not replace psychotherapy, medical care, physiotherapy or other forms of diagnosis and treatment.

It offers a complementary body centred space for exploration, practice and shared experience.
